      The Shaftesbury Theatre is an ever popular staple of theatreland. Once known as the New Prince's Theatre, before changing its name to the Prince's Theatre in 1914. The theatre was sold to E.M.I. in 1962 and, after a refit and redecoration, was finally open to the army of theatre goers as the Shaftesbury Theatre we know and love.
