| The Rose & Crown - London It's rare to find a true London pub these days but the Rose & Crown in Blackfriars is a last bastion of hope! Small but perfectly formed it has a good selection of ales at reasonable prices and an attractive beer garden next to a churchyard which offers a spot of tranquility on lazy summer evenings. The bar staff are friendly and the clientele are a mix of locals and office workers with no hint of attitude anywhere. This is how pubs are meant to be. No cocktails, no trendy furniture, it is what it is... a great pub. |
